P.S. Don't follow these tips.
So I am now an employed person. Somehow. And the job could give me a decent income... or it could not... That would depend on my ability to sell Woolworth's credit cards. And no, British people, that is not the same as the Woolworths that went bankrupt when the banks crashed or whatever happened, Australia has a different Woolworths that's a giant supermarket that owns like everything, a bit like Tesco's. Soo here are my foolproof(!) tips that I learned from getting my job...

The Journey
I love reading stories about people on journeys, epic quests of great importance. You just know they’re going to learn so much along the way that it barely even becomes about the object of the quest anymore. I’ve just started re-reading Lord of the Rings, and think how boring the book (or the films, if you like) would be if the journey wasn’t important. It would just skip to the end.

A Geek Moment + Covenants & More!
Ok soo this was written last week, but I didn't get to upload it as my laptop ran out of battery at precisely the wrong time. But I will now be able to blog pretty much whenever as WE FINALLY HAVE INTERNET!! I have seriously never been so excited in my life :P Aaanyway...
They need to ship these to Sydney. For a decent price. And I don't care if my flatmates hate me for it, they're just hilarious. And I don't even like Star Wars that much.

Zechariah
Before I get into all that I’ve done in the past week I’ve been neglecting my blog (sorry to those of you who care :P), I found the clearest prophecy of Jesus I think I know today. If you know of more it’d be awesome to have a list just for my own reference – I love prophecies. And the most awesome thing about this is that last night I was thinking about prophecies, and I realised that if someone just said to me, “OK, find me a prophecy fulfilled in Jesus,” the only place I’d really know to go, straight off is Isaiah 53. And then today I just decided to read Zechariah (which is a prophetic book in the Old Testament [the first half] of the Bible).

Chish and Fips
So, college life over the past few days. Well, I'm just starting to get to the point where the days mesh into each other a little. Like, I really have to think to work out what I was doing on Monday. Monday? Monday? What happened on Monday?

Some Busking Observations
So, on Wednesday I made $11.40 (and 20 Malaysian Sen) busking for an hour and a half. Well, we actually made $22.85 (and 20 Sen and a medal from the Australian bicentennial medal collection with Captain Cook on it), but we shared it between ourselves. Considering we paid $12 each for our busking passes, and we've only done it once, there's some prospect there. But whilst busking, I made some observations:

College and Busking and Powerhouse!
Now, anyone with any knowledge of the Family Trust from back home, especially their summer camp, Chequer Tree, will be immediately confused by the reference to 'Powerhouse'. Powerhouse is the young adult's group here at Hillsong; I went to their summer retreat last week... and it was pretty much an adult's Chequer Tree.
